MyndBoard - Very soon, much more than just an activity table
Unlike other activity tables, the MyndBoard is not a closed system, but a platform that can be expanded as required. We are therefore already planning further innovations, such as biofeedback for monitoring the progression of dementia or the implementation of exercise therapies based on the Lübeck Model (LMB). In future, the MyndBoard will be much more than just an activity table; it will be an integral part of care.
Use of objects
The MyndBoard is the only digital activity table that can be operated using objects such as a paintbrush, a pointer or a stick. This innovation was met with great enthusiasm at the care fair in Nuremberg. This is not just a ‘little gimmick’; rather, it enables users to operate the MyndBoard from their bed or whilst sitting in a circle of chairs – after all, what 85-year-old can stand for 30 minutes?
High stability and ease of use
We tested all the activity tables at the care fair – none of them are as sturdy as the MyndBoard. Sturdiness ensures durability when used daily and moved between rooms frequently. What’s more, the height and angle of the MyndBoard can be easily adjusted using a remote control.

Input devices
Whether it’s a brush, a throwing bag or a pointing stick, the MyndBoard offers a range of control options to create an interactive experience for users. As well as being used as a touch screen, the device can, for example, also be operated with a pointing stick, which gives people with disabilities in particular the opportunity to use the MyndBoard even from a distance. It is also possible to use a brush; for example, there are apps that allow you to paint with the brush.
Controller
The MyndBoard can also be operated using a controller. The controller is designed to perform different actions in response to different movements, making it particularly well suited to people with dementia. These features allow users to express their creativity and improve their cognitive abilities, whilst enjoying a fun and interactive experience.
Camera
Video calls can be made using a camera that can be attached to the MyndBoard as an optional extra. This makes it easy, for example, to make calls to relatives and friends in an intuitive way.
