Companies and service providers, including savings banks, use sponsorship (particularly social sponsorship) to enhance their image and strengthen their presence in their local communities. These sponsors often support organisations in purchasing equipment and implementing new systems that would otherwise be beyond their means.

Funding from long-term care insurance funds (§ 5 SGB XI)
Under Section 5 of SGB XI, long-term care insurance funds are obliged to support and promote health promotion measures in residential care homes. As part of this obligation, you may submit funding applications for prevention projects to the long-term care insurance funds. In collaboration with the relevant long-term care insurance fund, projects can be carried out with funding of up to 5,500 EUR (plus VAT). You can find details of eligible activities in the GKV’s free ‘Prevention Guide’, available on the website www.gkv-spitzenverband.de.
